Interestingly enough I've just written an article on Mars Metal for the next issue of Professiomal Boatbuilder Magazine. Their ability to provide not only a bolt on two piece bulb but the design service to recommend the weight of bulb to achieve the same sailing stability as the deep draft keel is discussed in the article. It has been a very successful program for the company.
