Bob — the starboard cockpit locker on my boat (the dual quarterberth version) is MUCH larger than the silly little port locker. The berth itself only runs partway aft in that space, and outboard; the locker accesses the water heater (forward), the entire starboard side of the engine, and back to the fuel tank and steering.
