Hi Josh,
I think that would be very useful. Once we have that we can create a
CAD file and then we can make the nameplate out of any material we want.
My friend has a small CNC machine and a 3D printer. The milling machine
probably cannot mill stainless steel, just softer materials like plastic.
But once you have a CAD file you can get a machine shop to make it out of
stainless. I have a friend that can do that also, but it will be more
expensive than plastic, for sure. Another advantage of acrylic is that it
will match the original, but be a little more durable.
