I replaced my mixing elbow, last year. It had rusted through. I couldn't separate the mixing elbow from the piece that attaches to the manifold (heated it with a torch, and used a five foot long monkey wrench), so I replaced both pieces. At the same time, I replaced the exhaust hose - from the mixing elbow to the muffler, and from the muffler to the thru hull. Now would be a good time to check your cockpit drain hoses, and your fuel fill hose.
