I keep various tube on board. I had a bleed screw that was slightly stripped and managed to work it's way loose. In fact it blew itself off. I couldn't get it to stay tight enough without skipping a thread so I removed the fitting, plugged the important ports with a paper towel, and then packed the bleed port with steel filled epoxy putty before reinstalling the bleed screw. I smoothed the epoxy to capture the the screw head and let it cure for an hour while we waited on the hook. An hour later we we back in business. Thinking that the proper thing to do would be to replace the fitting, I did. Then had the new bleed screw strip/come loose! I retrieved the epoxied fitting and reinstalled. It is there to this day.
