I installed a Davis Windex light on Touche' last year. Used it for an overnight race. Well worth the $ and effort. I installed with the rig up. If your rig is down, I'd definitely do it.
Davis now makes an LED version. It's only $25. You can buy them cheaper on eBay but they may be the incandescent version. Dennis C.
