I routed the 2-inch exhaust hose to exit on the forward outboard section of the cockpit coaming. This required that I use a shield to prevent green water from splashing into the hose. I mounted the fan around the corner from the vent location. I had to use a little more hose than was normally supplied and I had to move up to a slightly larger fan because of the longer hose.
Keep in mind that you should completely clean it out before storing for the winter—therefore 24/7 electricity is not required in the winter.
