Not specific to 33 mkII but it is my experience that most slab reef points are equal distance from one another and the boom. About 1/4 of the height of the sail per slab.
If you find that the boat is uncontrollable in heavy winds with the first reef then either a second reef or no mainsail at all would be in order. Your rigger/sail maker should be able to give some ideas. If you have or plan to have a bat-car system, or a strong track system the placement of the second reef will have to take into consideration the stack height. Penents/dog bones may be required to reach the reef horn. Boom height when reefed is going to be a consideration for the clew ring placement. Again all questions which the sailmaker should be discussing with you.
