Shawn, I'm still lurking here. My 35-3, a 37, Impromptu, and Rick's LF 38 have all been to Bermuda. Personally, I consider 35 the minimum for offshore, but obviously, others have different standards.
Never saw winds over 30 (on the return) and never felt unsafe.
