My first time posting to the list; hopefully I'm doing it right! (I
recently joined the ranks of C&C owners when I purchased a 1970 Frigate
36 - more posts to follow in the future!) Anyway, to the subject...I
have always relied on Dr. Peter Loveridge's _A __Cruising Guide to Nova
Scotia_. The 1st edition (1997) is long out of print, too expensive if
you can find it, and frankly a bit out of date. He produced a revised,
self-published, second edition in 2011 and this is available by

The "book" is available on CD or thumb drive
If you want one, please send a cheque for $65 US( if outside Canada) or
$65Canadian, if in this country. Outside North America, the equivalent
of $65US in any convertible currency is fine.

Like many rural residents in this country, I don't have a fast internet
connection and I can't do paypal or dropbox for this reason.
Let me know if you would prefer a CD or thumb drive, as though I am not
much into computers, I see that the new ones don't have CD drives in
many of them

It seems a bit awkward (don't know why he doesn't set up an e-store on
line) but its well worth the trouble. I have both the hardcover 1st
edition and the PDF 2ne edition - they are my bible when cruising the
shores of Nova Scotia.
