Dwight, Why split it. I’m not sure, but I thought mine was a single loop from the exchanger to the heater etc.

Any proportioning valve for example or different diameter hoses. I have checked my setup for airlocks but still can’t seem to make hot water On Sat, May 9, 2020 at 12:55 PM T Sutton via CnC-List <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> wrote: I’ll second checking the PRV. I had mine lifting sometimes if motoring for some distance the tank would get too hot and lift the PRV. I cleaned the heat exchanger on the motor (Yanmar) and even though it didn’t look that dirty I haven’t had the issue since. If your engine water is leaking in the heat exchanger in your hot water tank, wouldn't you be getting antifreeze in your domestic hot water? My domestic water pump sometimes runs continuously as well, but I think I have determined I have a leak somewhere, where it is sucking air. It heats fine on shore power. But the pressure pump for the pressure water runs continuously unless I bypass the engine hot water for the heater. So if I need a new unit, what should I be looking at?
