My 47 year old original hatches will sometimes leak around the screws. I
have been sealing them with Creeping Crack Cure to good effect, but one
corner of one hatch just would not quit dripping. I just happened to
have some Liquid Rubber for electrical connections sitting around and
had an idea. I painted a thin line on the leaky corner and problem
solved! It doesn't even look too horrible on the black hatch frame. I am
not sure I would do this on a new-ish hatch, but if yours are due for
new glass anyway this seems to be a decent stop-gap.
