If you can set up rules at the source (at the Mail Server) it is even better,
because they are in appropriate folders even before you download them from the
mail provider. Not all of them support that, but Outlook/Hotmail does. It might
be worth its while to setup an account there just for collecting various lists
emails.

Also it helps to sort on subject – not sender. My rules work on “Stus-List”
being in the subject line and thus capture email from the list or any specific
person ;)

Yo,

While Stu struggles through the upgade..(wish I could help but I don't do
Windoze) here ya go:

One obvious answer to managing the email deluge is to install either Outlook on
Micro$oft or better yet Thunderbird (basically an open source version from the
Free Software Foundation) and set up to filter the traffic by sending source or
subject to individual folders. My C&C Owners folder currently has traffic
back to last September, useful for retrieving those items I want to revisit but
can't remember......

God helps those who help themselves.
