I just replaced all my hoses when I rebuilt Nina's yanmar 3qm30. I only used Trident exhaust hoses. I ran 2" from the elbow and had to do a bend to get to the muffler then out to the thru hull. It is the Best and has a wire core. Heres's a link to the manufacturer. I bought mine locally at the Boat Owners Warehouse in southeast Florida.
