If I was going to do this again, which is inevitable, I would look for the Vetus exhaust hose for that bend. https://www.vetus.com/en/exhaust-systems/exhaust-hoses/mtr-exhaust-hose-14578.html With a rated bend radius of 1.5X the diameter, that would make it much easier to make the turn without collapsing.
