I looked up our engine and reduction gear and got the following:

3GM30(F)        2.61:1  17 X 12
I then checked the MaxProp manual and read 12 (11.6 actual) degree pitch 
requires a blade angle setting of 20 degrees which matches what PYI 
recommended.
