Depends on how good/many motels are nearby.The C&C 25 is optimum for Carlyle lake, but we bought the 30 for accomodations. And of course, it's a beautiful boat that sails well.RonWild CheriC&C 30-1STL
I am not totally getting a big ocean going boat in a lake, but maybe the lake is bigger than I think it is.
