Richard, depending what you are looking for, I might be your idiot - if the tech is more than you want to deal with you can spend a bit more and buy LiFePo batteries with the bms onboard. (As i did) Prices Falling on those too. I (happily) paid more than double the price per a/h from a local supplier, Canadian branded Chinese stuff, warranty, etc. Next boat, bigger bank, I might also go the alibaba route as Paul did.
Anyway, I ‘Fired up’ the solar setup on windstar a couple of weeks ago and the performance so far is exceeding expectations. A game changer indeed. I’m beginning to see lead-acid batteries as comparable to coal stoves.
