Agree with Randy. The cost of Lithium batteries and all the necessary power/charging management devices, prohibits the purchase unless you plan to keep the boat for twenty or thirty years. I would only do it for a newer, bigger boat that can support enough Solar Panels to be off grid, like a big cat. Otherwise, keep it simple.
