Run a new different hose straight from the seacock to the pump and leave the hose off the output. If you run the engine *very briefly*, the pump should be pumping if the pump works. In Atomic 4 Land, some years ago there was a lot of issues with impellers and/or gaskets that were just a tiny bit off. If air can get around the vanes in a gap between the impeller and the cover plate the pump may not work at all or may not be able to prime. Also, are we sure none of the vanes broke off?
