I have noticed the pink stuff get slushy. I used to use it in the water tanks, then I couldn't get the stink and disgusting stuff out of it, so I cleaned the tanks out and now SUCK the water lines out, starting with opening the far ends to the pump - this works well for me.I won't touch that pink stuff anymore. I was using Prestone, but since I changed out my radiant floor fluid, I have a few drums of perfectly good DOWFROST 50 Propylene glycol, good for -50°. I've been offering it to friends for free, and no takers, go figure!
