The UNIX authentication scheme does not allow two usernames to exist in
/etc/passwd if they are the name. Honestly, I cannot think of any system
that allows duplicate usernames. Even systems based on UID #'s such as
Unix and Linux do not allow this because of the difficulty for the user to
know their user ID number.
