There is an Apache module available <http://www.webdav.org/mod_dav/> but I really have no idea what to do with it. There is client support in current versions of Windows and MacOS X ... for MacOS 9.x there is a 3rd party client under development (Goliath). I was going to post a question last night but never got around to it.
