Well what have I found out. If you download the file to your Qube3 untar it and do the following as root
./configure --with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs you should get no errors I didn't on a fully patched Qube3 make make install and that's it - well there is more on the apache configuration but I can't find the <location> or <Directory> that the instructions mention I presume it should be in the virtualhost container but if someone more knowledgeable can enlighten me then I can test the install I've done so far.
