Greetings, I am trying to upgrade php from 4.0.6 to 4.3.3 on my raq4 and am having a terrible time. I have found a step by step instruction list @ http://www.uk2raq.com/raqfaq/raqfaqshow.php?faq=43 and when it is all said and done, I get the error that is listed at the bottom of the page(my httpd wont start back up). [root php-4.3.0]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd stop Shutting down Web Service: httpd [root php-4.3.0]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd start Setting up Web Service: Syntax error on line 58 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load /usr/lib/apache/libphp4.so into server: libgd.so.1.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory /usr/sbin/httpd
I have tried linking the files that I think it is looking for to no avail I have edited my httpd.conf file to disengage php and httpd starts back up without php on. I then have tried to re-install php 4.06 with a .pkg file from sun. Once I have done that, I can still not get php page to work. Does anyone know of php 4.3 pkg or does anyone know how to get php started back up.
