Rick - Cobalt never claimed to use the latest and greatest they used what did the job - most of the exploits that have come out in the last few months have been related to pretty much anything but the kernel, we've seen patches for some/most. If the RaQ does the job it was sold for why do you want/need the latest kernel. If you want the latest and greatest software then you have bought the wrong box go and buy a white box server and install the flavour of your choice of Linux then you can have what you want.
