Thanks to Tim Hockin @ Sun: ftp://ftp.cobaltnet.net/pub/users/thockin/2.4/ You MUST read the readmes there as you will need to flash the boot rom of your raq to make it boot (it won't otherwise). If you get the wrong boot image or do something wrong your raq will be dead and you'll need to send it back to Sun to get the flash rom replaced. It's not sockted, and very very hard to un-solder from the board. I've had the 2.4 kernel running on two raq3/4s and various people I know have had it running ok. If the flash goes wrong, DO NOT REBOOT!!!! You're only real chance at fixing it (i.e. flashing the backup of the rom you took...) can only be done before you reboot. -- Regards, Tom Worley, Worley Web Solutions RaQ Maintenance http://worleyweb.net RaQ server help: http://uk2raq.com RaQ backup: http://uk2raq.com/backup.php TA2 game: http://totalannihilation2.com Flying Linux in space: http://projectmist.org _______________________________________________ cobalt-security mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://list.cobalt.com/mailman/listinfo/cobalt-security
