Other linux distros have it named sshd My home Debian box has only ssh in init.d, and I've continued to use that command on our Raq, though I've always thought that calling it sshd was more intuitive and less likely to cause this sshd_config/ssh_config confusion that keeps happening. Now, looking more closely, I see our Raq's got both ssh and sshd scripts in init.d, the sshd script being more recent, the ssh script being dated March 2001, same as my Debian box. Both are running OpenSSH 3.4pl1, so I don't know what's caused one to have an sshd and not the other. Perhaps some Debian thing rather than a Cobalt thing? Makes a change :o) Cheers Stephen _______________________________________________ cobalt-security mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://list.cobalt.com/mailman/listinfo/cobalt-security
