This was discussed on cobalt-users last week, including a reply from one of the Sun engineers. The problem in the latest kernel has been found, and a fixed kernel is on its way to QA. This affects the Qube Pro and the RaQ 4r. Not sure about XTR. In the meantime, there's a "hack" to fix the problem. Execute this at the commandline as root, and then add it to /etc/rc.d/rc.local (so that it runs each time the server gets rebooted): echo 5000 > /proc/sys/dev/md/speed-limit - -- Bruce Timberlake http://www.brtnet.org/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+VRJ+vLA2hUZ9kgwRAmolAJwNzPiR6yKSExrRUmPDDoJP3iO4kwCfZDDz W8/BB1dZJhaxKdiIUI/rWC0= =hbxt -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ cobalt-security mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://list.cobalt.com/mailman/listinfo/cobalt-security
