Thom, Careful - I was laughed down when I suggested a "forum" instead of / as well as a mailing-list...
Shame really as I used to run a 37000 member forum - and Vbulletin allows integration of Newsgroups into the database... and it's pretty easy to manage too. Just my $0.02 :) Paul -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Thom LaCosta Sent: 27 July 2004 14:49 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [cobaltfacts] Spammed for new Cobalt list? The more I think about it, the more I believe there are a lot of folks who may be forum users.....and since we are mailing list folks, we may overlook them. I had started a forum for Cobaltfacts....not many folks used it...and there were some really negative comments from some of the mailing list diehards about forums. I enjoy the lists....but I also think the howtos should also be on both web pages, and in forums. Take a peek at the howto section at http://www.cobaltfacts.com/forum/index.php Some of you might want to add to it, or heavens forbid, join the coabltfacts web ring or let me know what material you have up and I can add it to our pages.
