I've read that the original cobalt fans just stink (and were even replaced
by Sun with some other brand). Having personally dealt with managing 20
raq3 servers, I can vouch for this fact.
However, I see a recent post here:

And I was wondering if there were any other sources of fans that a) aren't
$20 or more and b) aren't sunon.
I was thinking about attaching a standard 1u cooling fan for k6 processors
to my CPU, if I was unable to find a suitable fan.

My RaQ never gets above 33°c with this $10 "PC slot" fan from CompUSA:

I'm sure you can get equivalent slot fans at nearly any decent computer
store.
