Guys,

Have been running a couple of small sites on a Raq 4i (550 OS) for a few years now, and the time has come to think about upgrading. I've recently come across a couple of P3/800Mhz Dual processor IBM boxes (They were free..!), and figure as they have come with a Dat auto loader, i'd be best off using them!

Looking at possible alternative Os's and front ends (Keeping with Linux of course..). Only a couple of simple stipulations:

1. they need to be free - Direct Admin / plesk / cpanel all look great, but unfortunately they cost. 2. they must be easily installable/maintainable - i.e. easy to install/update virus checkers/mailscanner etc etc

Now i was thinking along the Centos/Bluequartz road, but not had too much experience with it - problem is that it seems to me that as it's based on the old bluequartz/cobalt "interface" it's not as "up to date" as it is...Was thinking something along the lines of a fresh start with a new interface, along with improved functionality??

Any thoughts would be appreciated :)

Thx
Paul
