cd /var spool/mail
ls -la
there may be a .pop lock file there for the user
rm it
Also, if they use a blackberry at the same time as they are popping the
account, it may cause the mail to not begin with
From .... etc.
Which will cause the pop 3 to give the "from lines envelopes ... check
for corrupted mail drop" error.
Edit the file with
pico -w /home/spool/mail/theusername
and delete the unwated text at the beginning of the file.
Or, it might work to delete the oldest email using the webmail.
