Hey.

Adding Ubuntu support to Cobbler (and vice versa) is on my TODO list, so
I was happy to hear that there seems to be some interest in this from
other people as well. I've written a quick spec about the work needed
at:

    https://wiki.ubuntu.com/CobblerSpec

The corresponding blueprint is at:

    https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/cobbler

I'm not much a Cobbler developer myself (yet, anyway), so any help would
be greatly appreciated. I'm happy to answer questions about Ubuntu's
installation process, our repository and ISO layout, etc. if anyone
needs any pointers about that sort of thing.

I've set up a git tree for my work at

    git://kernel.ubuntu.com/soren/cobbler.git

with corresponding gitweb at:

    http://kernel.ubuntu.com/git?p=soren/cobbler.git

The changes are currently very minimal, and I don't expect to keep much
of a delta between the main cobbler git tree and my own tree for very
long, but if you're interested in tracking my stuff and helping out, now
you know where to find it in between merges. :)
