Hi,

I am running into a similar problem. I have Cobbler installed on a RHEL5
x86_64 system and I am not able to use reposync to fetch the i386 channels.

I was playing with mrepo before and it can handle this more gracefully
by creating "dummy" profiles for each OS/arch (albeit at an expense of a
license per dummy profile, okay for us since we have a site license).
The benefit is that I can disable the RHN plugin altogether so that my
systems need only talk to my mirror repos, although I still check in
with RHN to keep my system information up-to-date.

I haven't tried this yet, but I think it would be possible to use the
"rhnget" command from mrepo to mirror the RHN channels. If I understand
correctly, it should be possible to call this from a pre-sync script.
Any hints would be appreciated; I have only been tinkering with Cobbler
for about a week and I haven't even built my first system yet!

Chris
