Michael,

I added a "-d" to yumreposync_flags in /etc/cobbler/settings

yumreposync_flags: "-l -d"

and that did the trick!!

Thanks for the clue, you might also consider using "-m" as an additional
default flag to automatically get the group info.

yum reposync (which cobbler uses for http+ftp repos) has options for 
keeping X number of previous versions around, IIRC. We really should use

those options. I'll check up on this.
