Thanks, though that doesn't really help me unfortunately -- I would /expect/ that to work. I am sure it works with the qemu command line as well. The error really isn't a function of what technology is creating the guest at lower levels, but is about finding the location in the kickstart file inside of koan and something is happening there in accessing either the file or the URL or otherwise parsing that file.
