Thank you. This looks very usefull. On another note, when using the Cobbler 
Gui, its not always clear whats being asked for. I will input kernel location, 
etc and then get an error, but it gives no indication whats wrong. And the 
other thing I wonder about, does Cobbler just set up part of the kickstart 
environment? I don't see anywhere to set up exports. Thanks.

I have to take this approach with an older machine my daughter has.  I
use gPXE, which you can find at  http://etherboot.org/wiki/index.php 
and after the initial boot, it does a fully automated install quite
wonderfully. I just upgraded her machine via a re-install from FC9 to
FC12 with less than a dozen keystrokes. :)
