whoops, silly me...that should've been included from the get-go.

[david@ops-2 ~]$ sudo cobbler import
--path=rsync://ops-1/mirror/centos/6/imgix/x86_64 --name=imgix-base
--arch=x86_64

 ops-1 hosts all of our yum repos and i'v verified that rsyncd is
configured correctly.
