Hi Cobirders This is a test to Googly eyed group. Today it was very cold this morning but by 3PM it got up to 50o so I went to the Green Belt for a walk. Prospect Lake had lots of geese,gulls, and Mallards and little else. I walked west to Tabor Lake and there were 3 species of Mergansers! Hooded (3 males & 2 females), Common (5 males and 1 female), and Red-breasted (8 males) last new for me for the year. Also added one Double-crested Cormorant. Got down to 43o when I got back to the car. Bob Spencer NE of Golden
