I also saw a pair of ECDoves yesterday, just south and west of where
Rampart Range Road meets Waterton Road.  South a ways of Chatfield.

I wouldn't go so far as to call them rare; they were quite common all
over the front range last spring and summer.  Though I'm not sure how
many we should expect to see in winter (although since we're ankle-
deep in robins this year, nothing surprises me, especially in a
species that's expanding its range).
