Dear Cobirders,
On Tuesday, afternoon Nathan Pieplow and I returned to Boulder
Reservoir to see if the large flock of Gulls would return to roost in
the northwest corner. There were Gulls, but not nearly as many as
there had been on Sunday afternoon. Well, long story long, I headed
back to Boulder Reservoir this afternoon (2/12) and was able to
relocate at least one adult Thayer's Gull among the massive gathering
of Gulls. Also present were at least 10 Herring Gulls including 2
first-cycle Herring Gulls. This flock seems fairly unpredictable, but
there appear to be at least some Gulls on any given afternoon.

Cheers,
Walter Szeliga
