We spent the last several days driving around from Crested Butte, spending evenings in Ouray and then driving across Ouray, Montrose, Delta. Gunnison, Pitkin,Eagle and Summit counties. We put some reports in to the GBBC. The most exciting were a roadside spectacle of about 50 Mountain Bluebirds on HWY. 92 just past Austin and the Gunnison Bridge. They were in a mixed group eating dried berries with Starlings, Robins and 1 Yellow-rumped Warbler. We saw two nice flocks of Evening Grosbeaks both in Ouray and another on rt. 17 between Ouray and Ridgeway. Enjoy Linda Powers Crested Butte Gunnison County
