Hi Cobirders, I checked Big Johnson Resv this morning. Nothing unusual that I could find. It was getting pretty windy to use a scope, and most ducks were on the NE side of the lake. The lake is about 99.5% open. No gulls or geese (they were at Fountain Valley School's pond - 75+) lots of diving ducks: Common and Hooded Mergansers, Redheads, Canvasbacks, Ring-necked Ducks, Com Goldeneyes, Am Wigeons. Goldeneye were scattered all over the lake, some pretty close to the parking lot.
