Hi cobirders. Sunday I had more birds. A pair of Mourning Doves
(FOS) were feeding in the back lawn at home.
Only had 1 Modo winter visitor on Feb.9. Eurasian Collared Doves are
here every day. from 2 to a dozen.

Monday I went up to Stearns Reservoir and in the pond across the road
were 14 male Green-winged Teal
with their bright breeding plumage. Saw my first W.Meadowlark on
that road.
At home there were 60 Red-winged Blackbirds, all male, on the cable
drum feeder.

Summer days of winter will be over Friday. We will soon get Spring
snow! well we need moisture.
Great birding coming.
