Dear Cobirders,
I quick stop by Walden Ponds this evening (3/20) turned up the male
Cinnamon x Blue-winged Teal (on Duck Pond), many Killdeer and at least
one Greater Yellowlegs. Adding to the interest was a swooping attack
from a Golden Eagle that flushed nearly everything on Cottonwoods
Marsh. The Eagle came away empty taloned, but provided excitement
nonetheless.

Cheers,
Walter Szeliga
