Today Nick Van Lanen, Michelle and I hiked up Bobcat Ridge a Fort
Collins Natural Area.  We tallied the following raptors;

Broad-winged Hawk 1
Sharp-shinned Hawk  10
Cooper's Hawk 8
Turkey Volture 15
Red-tailed Hawk 12 ( a couple were residents)
American Kestrel 7 (most were residents)
Golden Eagle 6
Merlin 1
Peregrine Falcon 1
Unknown Falcon 1

Migrating non raptors;
Western Bluebird 100+
Mountain Bluebird 15+
American White Pelican 4
White-throated Swift 30 +
Northern Rough-winged Swallow 1

Birds seen at the watch or on the hike up;
Pygmy Nuthatch
White-crowned Sparrow
Common Raven
American Goldfinch
Steller's Jay
Black-capped Chicadee
Pink-sided Junco
Townsend's Solitarie
Spotted Towhee
Horned Lark
Western Meadowlark
Northern Flicker
Downy Woodpecker
Pine Siskin
