Hello, Birders.

Hannah and Andrew and I chanced upon a nice flock of peeps at Walden Ponds,
Boulder County, earlier today, Thursday, April 30th. They were at Duck Pond,
they were close to the shore, and all 3 species were present: 10 alternate
Semipalmated Sandpipers, 1 alternate Western Sandpiper, and 1 alternate Least
Sandpiper. A great opportunity for comparative study.

Also, we heard 2 Blue-gray Gnatcatchers and 1 Virginia Rail. In the birding log
by Cottonwood Marsh, there was an anonymous entry for Black-and-white Warbler
from earlier in the day.

Over at Prince Lake No. 2, Boulder County, there were 2 Wilson's Phalaropes and
1 Western Kingbird.

In the past few days, Greenlee Preserve, Boulder County, has had Wood Duck,
Solitary Sandpiper, Wilson's Phalarope, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, American Pipit,
and Orange-crowned Warbler.
