Dear Cobirders,
Kind of a late post, but last evening (5/1) it was fairly bird on the
trails around Twin Lakes in Gunbarrel (Boulder County). Things didn't
seem to pick up until after 5PM with:

at least two Orange-crowned Warblers in the Cherry flowers,
one and possibly a second male Blackpoll Warbler,
Yellow-rumped Warblers everywhere,
one Lincoln's Sparrow,
one Great Horned Owl being harassed by a mob of American Crows
and an overflight of eight Willets.

Hopefully this signals the beginning of a good Warbler migration in
Boulder. Is it just me, or do the Eurasian Collared-Doves seem to
outnumber the Mourning Doves so far?

Cheer,
Walter Szeliga
Boulder, CO
