Becca Safran has asked me to post the following to Cobirds pending her
being able to join it herself:

Greetings!

I am a new assistant professor at the University of Colorado in the

Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. I have been studying

barn swallows for nearly 12 years (as a doctoral student at Cornell,

postdoc at Princeton) and am setting up field sites throughout Boulder

County.

If you have any breeding barn swallows on your property and would

entertain the idea of participating in our evolutionary study, we'd be

incredibly grateful. We are very interested in public involvement in

our work, as well!

I am happy to answer any and all questions related to our research and

what it entails.

Thanks for considering our request!

Sincerely

Becca
